Platinum pitch the #3776 Century Travia as a new fountain pen designed to open the way to the future. It certainly is a lovely looking pen.
The nib is where the Century range earns its keep. A 14K gold, plated in ruthenium matches the rest of the pen, rather than left in a contrasting gold tone. At 142mm capped and a manageable 29.3g, it sits in that sweet spot of feeling substantial without feeling like hard work over a long writing session.
